In life, passion’s can change. And as those passions change, so must your facilities. When one of our past customers in the food processing business decided that he wanted to explore the art of wine-making, we partnered with him to create a beautiful and functional cellar, winery, and restaurant/lounge area. Swiftwater Cellars is inspired by mining, and we worked with the owner to fulfill his vision of walls inspired by caves and caverns, and details reminiscent of a rural mining communities. The wood beams and natural rock affixed to the outer parts of the structure create a rustic-chic vibe, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine in a quintessential PNW atmosphere.
This process was unique and different from many of our clients, and we worked closely with the owner to make sure that his dreams were being realized in our designs and in the final product. We often had conversations discussing his interpretation of what a cave might look like, or what one might find in a mine shaft. We also worked with our partner vendors to source the natural materials, ensuring that every last detail was high-quality and felt authentic and true to the mining theme.
